Welcome to OK’s first Insider walk-through — taking place in Rona Yefman’s exhibition The Strongest Girl in the World.

Exhibitions are often mediated through the voice of a curator or educator. However, many minds and capabilities are at work in the planning, development and presentation of artists’ work. We hereby invite you to follow us behind the scenes!

Thorbjørn Reuter Christiansen and Martin White are the technicians who mount OK’s exhibitions. They are also artists themselves. The mounting process requires an intimate collaboration between the curator, exhibiting artists and the mounting staff. The mounting staff’s involvement can provide an alternative perspective of the art — a perspective that is seldom communicated.

With our new Insider walk-throughs, OK wants to place focus on the “behind of” and “coming about” of our exhibitions and the valuable staff who contribute to these extensive mounting periods. The walk-through will offer a rare insight into our exhibitions, formed by our staff’s artistic perspectives and backgrounds as well as their first-hand knowledge of our space.

The event is free of charge and open for all. The event will take place in English.
