Oslo Kunstforening is happy to announce the opening of Jenna Sutela's exhibition NO NO NSE NSE Saturday October 17 between noon and 4 pm.

Please note that due to infection control measures there will not be an ordinary opening event. We will limit the number of visitors in the gallery at the same time and appreciate your understanding.

Science fiction is a recurring theme in Jenna Sutela’s work. So is the quest to go beyond the limits of human-created language, both by delving into artificial intelligence and machine learning, and by turning towards technologies as shamanistic devices or possible mediums to channel alien semantics.

The exhibition, produced by Kunsthall Trondheim, and adapted by the artist for Oslo Kunstforening, invites viewers to approach machines not as models or expansions of the human mind, but on their very own terms.

NO NO NSE NSE is Jenna Sutela’s first major international solo show.

The exhibition at Oslo Kunstforening is supported by FINNO - The Finnish-Norwegian Cultural Institute.

The publication Jenna Sutela – NO NO NSE NSE, published by Kunsthall Trondheim, Serpentine Galleries, and Koenig Books will be available for purchase during the exhibition.
