ACT IV: Silketrykk av Marianne Heier

New prints by Marianne Heier for sale at Oslo Kunstforening! Two motifs from Heier’s project ACT – an ongoing work connected to KORO’s public art commission for the new Domus Juridica at Tullinløkka in 2020.
ACT was produced in collaboration with NOAS (the Norwegian Organisation for Asylum Seekers) and aims to implement the UN Convention on the Reduction of Statelessness, ratified by Norway 69 years ago, into Norwegian legal practice. The work unfolds within the Norwegian judicial system through a series of court cases brought on behalf of stateless individuals in Norway against the Norwegian state.
The motifs depict two versions of Justitia, inscribed with quotations from the work on these cases. The posters are screenprinted in two colours on thick cotton paper, in editions of 10 prints per motif.
The posters are available for purchase at Oslo Kunstforening for a minimum price of NOK 1000. All proceeds go directly to NOAS to support their continued work for stateless individuals in Norway.
