Oslo Kunstforening is a non-commercial venue for contemporary art and the oldest membership-based art institution in Norway. Over the course of nearly 190 years, we have established ourselves as an important part of not only Oslo’s, but Norway’s, art and cultural history. Our members form the foundation of our organisation. They are essential to our ability to continue offering a diverse and relevant artistic programme of high quality.

Each of our members has one vote at the Oslo Kunstforening annual general meeting. As a member, you will also receive invitations to all openings and events, priority access to workshops, guided tours and artist talks, as well as discounts on art, publications, art supplies, and framing – all while contributing to the development of the contemporary art field in Oslo.
