Workshop: Photography

24.04.25
Camera Rosten

Camera Rosten (2017)

Oslo Kunstforening invites you to a photography workshop in connection with the exhibition Ingenting bra skjer plutselig by Ole John Aandal.

The workshop is led by visual artist and photographer Henrik Follesø Egeland and gives you the opportunity to explore pinhole photography – a technique also used in Aandal’s work Camera Rosten.

The evening begins with a short guided tour of the exhibition, where we take a closer look at Aandal’s work and his use of pinhole photography. You will then get to build your own pinhole camera and experiment with this technique.

Henrik Follesø Egeland (b. 1994, Tønsberg) is a trained photographer and visual artist with a BA in Photography from the University of Roehampton (2014–2017) and an MA in Fine Art from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (2020–2022). He works as a technician and photographer at Oslo Kunstforening and has extensive experience teaching photographic techniques, including through courses at CYAN and Oslo Fotokunstskole.

The workshop is free for members and costs 100 NOK for non-members. No prior experience is required to participate. Registration is required, and you can find more information here.
