Sparebankstiftelsen DnB NOR Stipendutstilling 2012

Oslo Kunstforening and Sparebankstiftelsen DNB NOR are pleased to announce the opening of the Grant Exhibition 2012.

The Grant Exhibition will show works by five candidates selected from 20 portfolios by a jury. On the opening day one of the artists will be awarded a grant of NOK 100,000 from the Sparebankstiftelsen DNB NOR.
 
The following artists are participating in this years exhibition: Marie Buskov, Ahmad Ghossein, Markus Li Stensrud, Petrine Lillevold Vinje and Janna Thöle Juul

The Jury

Chairman: Erlend Høyer Stone, Director of the Art Museums of Bergen.
 Members: Marit Paasche, Critic and Art Historian, Lotte Konow Lund, Visual Artist, Marianne Hultman, Director, Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society and Kjetil Røed, Art Critic.

Background

Since 1986 Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society has awarded young artists, with the kind support of Sparebanken Oslo og Akershus. As part of the grant, the artists are offered a solo exhibition at Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society.

Since 2008, Sparebankstiftelsen DNB NOR and Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society has awarded grants to Ellisif Hals and Susanne Skeide (2008), Ignas Krunglevicius (2009), Ann Cathrin November Høibo (2010) and Kaia Hugin (2011).
