Sparebankstiftelsen DnB NOR stipendutstilling 2011

Oslo Kunstforeningand Sparebankstiftelsen DnB NOR are pleased to announce the opening of the Grant Exhibiton 2011.

The Grant Exhibition will show works by five candidates selected out from 20 portfolios by a jury. On the opening day one of the artists will be awarded a grant of NOK 100 000 from the Sparebankstiftelsen DnB NOR.

The following artists are participating in this years exhibition: Mohamed Ali Fadlabi, Jorunn Hancke Øgstad, Hanne Grieg Hermansen, Kaia Hugin, Karen Nikgol.

The Jury

Chairman: Erlend Høyer Stone, Director of the Art Museums of Bergen.
Members: Anders Bjørnsen, Administrative Officer, Fine art and string instrument collections, Sparebankstiftelsen DnB NOR, Lotte Konow Lund, Visual Artist, Marianne Hultman, Director, Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society and Kjetil Røed, Art Critic.

Background

Since 1986 Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society has awarded young artists, with the kind support of Sparebanken Oslo og Akershus. As part of the grant, the artists are also offered to hold a solo exhibition Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society.

Since 2008, Sparebankstiftelsen DnB NOR and Oslo Kunstforening/Oslo Fine Art Society has awarded grants to Ellisif Hals and Susanne Skeide (2008), Ignas Krunglevicius (2009) and Ann Cathrin November Høibo (2010).
